To give you an overview of my work experience to date, I am a qualified and experienced Boilermaker with over 8 years of experience in multicultural technical/professional environments.
I offer sound experience in;
· Design and layout of projects;
· Fabrication and repair of equipment used in mining operations;
· Support of production crews and repair personnel with welding operations;
· Welding (pipe and structural using stick, MIG, TIG, etc.);
· Using oxygen/acetylene torches and plasma arc;
· Repairing equipment and structures;
· Installing fabricated items in the field;
· Ship maintenance
I am confident in working as a team member within special projects, liaising with suppliers and customers, suggesting and making recommendations for improvement within systems while actively managing my own assigned task to ensure that my work is on time and on budget.
I relate well to people from all walks of life. A keen, conscientious employee, I have a good sense of humour and a diplomatic approach to others. I am very artistic and creative, and have a young fresh thinking mind. I know how to work hard and I am more than willing to work beyond the 9 to 5 routine.
My education was at Secondary level at De La Salle College Scarborough QLD and completed an Apprenticeship with Main Roads Department as a Boilermaker (Fabrication)
The skills I have acquired also include the ability to prioritize tasks and to get things done in a high pressure, changing environment. Coupled with a high degree of drive and energy, my referees will verify that I possess excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and contribute to solutions, with a proven ability to resolve sensitive matters through negotiation and influence whilst gaining the trust of peers and line managers.
I am confident in working within project teams, as I bring a creative and an open-minded approach to work planning and organization.
My career objective is in seeking an employer whereby I can continue my growth in the customer service industry
